Applications, On line are invited to fill up 46 vacancies in the Lower Division Clerk in the offices of ESIC in Gujarat Stat:

Educational Qualification:
(i) Higher Secondary Pass (pass in 12th Standard) or equivalent from a recognised Board.
(ii) Working knowledge of computer including the use of office suites and data base with typing speed of 40 words per minute in English or 35 words per minute in Hindi.
Age: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 27 years as on 18-11-2010 i.e. last date of receipt of applications.

Mode of Payment:
The examination fee is to be paid in any branch of State Bank of India in the designated Account No.31463702683 OR 31463687697 by filling up challan in triplicate, to be down loaded from the website. Bank will return two challans to the candidate and the candidate shall attach one original challan to the printout of the On line application form, down loaded from the website and send to this Office, alongwith other papers / documents to be attached with the application. The Bank shall record a unique journal number in the challan and the same No. should be correctly entered at appropriate place while registering application On line. No other means/mode of payment will be accepted. Fee once paid will neither be refunded nor adjusted against any future examination.

How To Apply:
Candidate should apply on-line only on our website. No other mode of application will be accepted. For applying On-line, the candidates should have a valid E-mail ID. If the candidate does not have a valid E-mail ID, he/she should create a new e-mail ID before applying on line. The candidates should send computer generated Application printout in A 4 size paper and firmly paste a recent passport size photograph and sign the application at the space specified, along with original challan of fee paid in the State Bank of India and submit by Regd. Post/Speed Post in an envelope superscribing“Application for the post of LDC 2010-11” at the following address. Application by hand delivery will not be accepted. If Application by post is not received along with all necessary documents, then the on-line application will not be valid. It may be noted that each candidate should send one application in separate envelope, envelope containing more than one application is liable to be rejected. Only those registered applications, the print out of which is received duly signed along with the enclosures listed below on or before the last date, will be treated as valid.ESI Corporation will not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transmission/transit. The candidates should retain a photocopy of their print out of the System Generated Application for their record and reference.

The following documents should be attached with the system generated application form :
a.) A recent passport size photograph duly attested by a Group “A”/Group “B’ Gazzetted Officer(This is in addition to a passport size photograph to be pasted on the application form).
b.) Attested coy of School Leaving Certificate / 10th Board certificate in support of date of birth.
c.) Attested copies certificates and testimonials in proof of educational qualification.
Copy of mark sheets in respect of all the academic and technical examination passed.
Attested copy of disability certificate confirming of disability not less than 40% issued by competent authority in the prescribed format.
d.) Attested copy of Caste/status certificate in the prescribed form in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex Servicemen category issued by competent authority. OBC category candidates claiming reservation/age relaxation should submit the caste certificate in the format, as given in the Appendix III read with Annexure A to the Government of India, Department of Personnel & Training O.M. NO. 36033/28/94-Estt.(Res)dated 2-7-1997 under GI DOPT OM No. 36012/22/93-Estt.(SCT)dated 15-11-93 and modified vide GOI, DOPT’s OM No. 36033/3/2004-EST(Res.) dated 9.3.2004, failing which the benefit of reservation for age relaxation will not be given to them.

General Conditions :-
1.) A candidate should submit one application only, submission of more than one application may lead to rejection of all the applications submitted.
2.) Mere submission of application does not confer any right to be called for written test.
Application should be sent in a cover superscribing : “Application for the post of LDC 2010-11” by Registered Post/Speed post so as to reach the Regional Office latest by 18-11-2010.
3.) Incomplete/unsigned applications received without photographs, certified copies of required certificates such as educational qualification,Caste/ Community etc. and those received after the prescribed last date for receipt of application will summarily be rejected without any communication to the candidate.
4.) Candidates seeking relaxation in age limit/or exemption from payment of examination fee should enclose attested copy of relevant certificates in support of their claim and in the absence of such documentary support, their claim for relaxation in age limit and/or exemption from payment of examination fee will not be considered.
5.) No interim correspondence will be entertained.
6.) Candidates shall generally be considered only against the vacancies available in the State, however the number of vacancies may undergo change.
7.) No TA/DA will be paid to any candidate including candidates belonging to SC,ST,PWD,PWD,OBC,EXSM categories, for appearing in the written test or skill test .
Wrong declarations/submission of false information or any other action contrary to law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage. Before applying for the post, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria mentioned above. The Corporation would be free to reject any application at any stage of selection process, if the candidate is found ineligible for the post for which he has applied. The decision of the Corporation regarding eligibility of the Candidates, the stage at which scrutiny of eligibility is to be undertaken, qualifications experience and other eligibility norms shall be final.
